| This watch is a good example of the bold color blend designs of the '70s. It features a dial with an outer rim designed in eight sections. Every other one is brown and cream in color and the center section of the dial is a barrel shape with a gold tone coloration. This watch is in mint cosmetic and running condition. In fact, it keeps very accurate time. | |

| The barrel shaped gold toned case measures 1 1/2" across (including the crown) and 1 5/8" (lug to lug.) It is 5/16" thick. The front of the case is finished in a brush gold tone and the sides of the case are finished in a smooth gold tone. The back of the screw down case is marked All Swiss Made, Mod. Dep., Shock Resistant, Base Metal Bezel, Stainless Steel Back, and features the Basis company logo. | |

| The round dial features an outer rim designed in eight sections. Every other one is brown and cream in color and the center section of the dial is a barrel shape with a gold tone coloration. The hour markers are white in color with three lines at the 12, 3, 6 and 9 o'clock positions; and a single white line at the 1, 2, 4, 5, 7, 8, 10 and 11 o'clock positions. (It is the hour indicators which actually divide the brown and cream sections on the outer dial.) There is a 60 seconds/minutes scale marked in black lines surrounding the inner gold colored and barrel shaped dial. The date feature is at the 3 o'clock position. The Arabic numerals are black in color against a white background. The dial is marked Basis, Hunter and has a 'B' Symbol below the 12 o'clock position; and 17 Jewels, Shock Resistant, and Swiss Made above the 6 o'clock position. The straight hour and minutes hands are gold in color with the tips being white in color edged with a streamlined black line. And the sweeping seconds hand is solid black in color. The crystal has a flat surface and angular sides and is raised 3MM above the case. | |
