Description/Comments:
This is an unusual and scarce Lucerne direct-read (jump hour) "digital" watch, with a unique 'D' shaped case.  The case is asymmetrical designed, with the left side square, and the right side semicircular. The case looks like brushed stainless steel but it is metal plated. The entire rim of the face curves gracefully around the edges.

It was this very style of watch that got me interested in watch collecting!  I saw one of these a few years ago and just thought it was one of the most unique and interesting designs in the art of watch making.

I recently purchased this interesting watch, but it took me over two years to find it!

Dial:
The dial is deep blue in color with matching deep blue hour and minute dials. The numbers on the dial are white in color.  It is marked Lucerne, Digital, and Swiss.  The crystal echoes the shape of the case.
Band:
A genuine black leather band with a gold buckle.
Movement:
Swiss jeweled mechanical wind.
