Orient - Kaleidoscope Type Dial With 27 Jewels and Automatic (circa '70s)

Description/Comments:
The bezel has a gold ring around the crystal.  The back of the watch is marked: Stainless Steel, Water Resistant, and has the Orient logo engraved.  The serial numbers are TE429-30660CU. There is a quick set button for the date.
Dial:
A unique blending burgundy colored design from a lighter shade in the middle turning darker at the edges.  The dial resembles a kaleidoscope type of pattern.  The hour indicators are a raised gold design.  The day and date are at the 3 o'clock position, the number of the day 1 through 7 are also part of the day display.  The Orient logo is under the 12 o'clock position and the dial is marked Crystal 27 Jewels
Band:
This unique watchband was produced in the 1950's by D. Caron of New Orleans, and submitted to the US Patent Office. The "Caron Executive" watchband is crafted of durable stainless steel. It slips over the hand and is fully adjustable with 8 positions on the band and a modified loop closure to fit snugly against the wrist.
