Buler - 23 Jewels with a Thunderbird Style Bezel and Cream Colored Dial (circa '50s)

Description/Comments:
Here is an all original vintage fifties wrist watch featuring a cream colored dial and 23 jewels mechanical wind.

This watch is in excellent cosmetic and running condition.

Case:
The round shaped metal chrome plated case measures 1 7/16" across (including the crown) and 1 3/4" (lug to lug.)  It is 1/4" thick.  The crown is located at the 3 o'clock position.  The back of the screw down case is marked Stainless Steel Back and Guarantee Swiss Made, Electronically Tested, Water Resistant, Antimagnetic, Buler (with the Buler logo) and the numbers 1192C.  The bezel resembles the Rolex-style Thunderbird design.

Dial:
The round dial has a cream color background.

The hour makers are raised silver tone colored and rectangular shaped with arrow points at the inner parts at the 1, 2, 4, 5, 7, 8, 10 and 11 o'clock positions, and the 12 o'clock position is a 'V' type of shape.  The 6 and 9 o'clock positions are arrow pointed at both ends.  There are small dots at all 12 hour positions just below the raised hour markers that have a luminous coating on them.

The date feature is located at the 3 o'clock position and has red colored Arabic numerals against a white background.

The dauphine-style hour and minutes hands are silver in color with a crease in the middle.  And the thin dauphine-style sweep seconds hand is silver in color as well.

The crystal has a slight curvature on the surface and angular sides and is raised 3MM above the case at its center. 

It is marked Buler (with the Buler logo) and 23 Jewels below the 12 o'clock position, and  Water Proof, Nivarox and Unbreakable Mainspring above the 6 o'clock position, and Swiss Made below the 6 o'clock position.
