Description/Comments:
This is a very nice vintage John Wanamaker wrist watch from the fifties.  It is in excellent cosmetic and working condition.  
Case:
The stainless steel round shaped and silver toned metal case measures 1 5/16" across (including the domed crown) and 1 1/2" (lug-to-lug).  The stainless steel screw down case back is marked Water Resistant , Swiss Made, Incabloc, Antimagnetic, Stainless Steel , Automatic and the number 6010 1.  The inside of the case back is marked Droz and Co.
Dial:
The dial is all original with a three tone silver design.  The design consists of three circular patterns an it changes its appearance depending on the light reflecting on it.  It is signed John Wanamaker below the 12 o'clock position.  The very stylish Arabic numeral hour markers are radium and silver-greenish in color.  There is a 60 seconds/minutes scale at the outer edge of the dial.  The radium-style hour and minute hands are black and have a luminous coating in their center, and the seconds hand is pure red in color with a arrow pointer at the end.  The crystal is flat on its surface and curved around the edges and it extends 2MM above the case.
Band:
A brand new  Genuine Leather Brown Colored  and sewn strap marked 16 R and Genuine Leather with a Gold Toned Buckle.
Movement:
The automatic movement is marked seventeen 17 jewels, Swiss, Unadjusted, and Bidynator, Patented, WXJ and John Wanamaker.
