Ingersoll, Wrist - Three Part Case with Wire Lugs and a Sunken 60 Seconds Sub-Dial and in Superb  Original Condition (circa '20s)

Description/Comments:
Here is a 1920s Ingersoll Wrist wire lug wristwatch featuring a silver satin dial with radium coated Arabic numerals and a sunken sub-dial.  

This watch is in superb cosmetic and running condition.

               
Case:
The tonneau shaped 3 part silver toned case measures 1 1/2" across (without the crown) and 1 13/16" (wire lug to wire lug.)  It is 3/8" thick.  The stem and large crown is extended 5/16" from the case, and it is located at the 3 o'clock position.  The inside of the back cover is marked Made in U.S.A.

Dial:
The excellent conditioned original round dial has a silver satin color background and features an antique-style single sunk 60 seconds sub-dial with a black hand and a 60 seconds scale around its outer edge.  

The hour markers are off-green colored Arabic numerals at all 12 positions.  There is a 60 minutes scale at the edge of the dial.

The antique-style hour and minutes hands are radium coated. 

The crystal is flat on the surface and straight at the sides and is raised 0.5MM above the case. 

It is marked Ingersoll and Wrist below the 12 o'clock position, and Made in U.S.A. at the 6 o'clock position.

Mechanical Wind with ornate engravings and marked Ingersoll Watch Co., Made in U.S.A., Pat'd. Jul. 2, 18; May 24, 10; Nov. 12, 12; Jul. 21, 14; Nov. 14, 22; Jul. 14, 25.  And the serial number 71358169.
