Waltham 1923 Ornate Dial Trans Piece - Front View.jpg (149478 bytes)
Description/Comments:
Here is a very unusual 17 jewel Waltham wire lug transitional wristwatch with an ornately engraved (Art Deco design) dial and a 10K Rolled Gold Plate case and back.  With the overall size and its stem and crown at the 12 o'clock position it is obvious that this piece was converted from a pocket watch into a wristwatch.

This unusual vintage piece is in outstanding original condition--and what is more amazing is it keeps very accurate time.
