Dow - From Mother - 12-25-17 (Christmas Day 1917.)
Case:*
The hinged case is 14K solid yellow gold. It measures 30mm in diameter, 40mm lug to lug, 8mm thick and the crown extends 5mm from the case. The back of the case has very fancy engraved initials. It is marked on the inside 14K 585/1000 Fine, Roy, and the number 789083.
Dial:
The dial is a pure original example of a baked enamel style featuring Arabic numerals. It is marked Waltham below the 12 o'clock position and has a 60 seconds track surrounding the edge of the dial. The hands are gun metal black. (There are a few hairlines present - see photos.)
The crystal is in perfect condition and raised 4mm from the surface of the case bezel.
